First I was asking you what function(s) did not work. If there is a
mistake in my instructions please let me know.


Secondly, you may think that this is great.  But we are not writing code
for us on our computers.  We are writing code that can be installed and
used by many people.  you should be able to install a Virtual Box (other
other VM) and install HKCR with the minimum number of requirements. If
you use the Plone installer you do not need all of the other stuff.
That stuff like ZopeSkel is used by developers. A user should never need
it.

And easy_install is installed in the virtual environment by the Plone
installer.  One step.

It is not more friendly.  It is only more friendly to you.
