Message #00031
HKCR 1.0.0-a1
Hi HKCR Devs,
So that we can see incremental improvements I have set some small, step
by step goals. More to come.
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/hkcr/+spec/hkcr-skin
This blueprint will get us our first functional HKCR. Well, it will be
functional in the sense that we can download and install it. Then
something will come up and execute and look different than just Plone.
The dev installation guide is also part of this milestone.
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/hkcr/+spec/dev-install
The code in the trunk should already be a reasonable starting framework
that Tarsis can help port his code into. It also includes code from
OSHIP that has not yet been merged into the OSHIP dev branch.
I do not know when they will do this merge but we need the oship.openehr
and oship.mlhim namespaces to get HKCR started. So, there may be
changes to this at a later date.
I created a copy of Tarsis' code in a new branch. But I see it has been
deleted. I have a copy and can re-create the branch of needed. Let me
know.
There are some changes to config files I had to make in order to support
component versions that work both with Grok and with Plone. So they are
included in the HKCR source but have to be copied into the HKCR root
overwriting original config files. Hopefully Plone will catch up to
Grok on versions soon. Until then we will have to maintain these
ourselves. Plus, some mods need to be done on the config files so that
the hkcr and oship branches are properly used.
I hope that we can get these items in place by sometime next week and
have the 1.0.0-a1 milestone completed.
Questions?
