In tx_dlf_metadata::main there is a check for the value in $this->conf['rootline'] in line 71:

if ($this->conf['rootline'] < 2) {

It turns out that for monographs this value is (at least for us) always NULL, and the result are empty title data at pages where tx_dlf_pageview and tx_dlf_metadata are being combined.

The fix for this is easy: Replace line 71 with

if ($this->conf['rootline'] && $this->conf['rootline'] < 2) {

This applies for 1.2.b1.
