Hello all,


0.7.1 is now building at OBS. I'll upload the source version, update the
website and make the announcement once this is complete. 

The main fixes include :-

* New driver - "g15direct". This uses a modified version of libg15
(which should still be compatible with the original) to provide improved
G13 support. It also may be used for all other G15 like models supported
by g15tools in place of g15daemon. This should be more performant than
g15daemon, and also mean Gnome15 will be able to start using the "L1"
key. 

* Some fixes for the kernel driver (more working controls, 2.6.39+
support). However, there are still issues with the G keys not working
properly, so until these are fixed, the default and recommended drivers
rever to g19direct and g15direct. You should be able to use the kernel
drivers with a G19 with no problem, but the way Gnome15 is packaged
currently means it cannot be the default.

* Passive Mode notifications ("Show on desktop as normal" option), would
cause all the DBUS API to break (and so breaking g15config,
g15-indicator etc). 

* Some MPRIS fixes (Banshee and track progress). Note, for Banshee to
work properly, you need a daily build. 

* An experimental Unity Lens (Ubuntu only). This is NOT enabled by
default, so you will need to compile from source to get it. The
intention is to have it ready for 0.8.0. 

* GTK driver only worked for G19 emulation.

* Some other minor bits.


I intend to release the 0.7.x versions a bit more often as the remaining
bugs are ironed out, so expect a few more releases over the coming
weeks.
