wadkar confirmed that the question is solved:
Never mind, I need to add the old PPA for working GMailWatcher

# sudo add-apt-repository ppa:loneowais/ppa
# sudo apt-get update
# sudo apt-get install gmailwatcher

Working good for now, you might want to mention this on your LP landing
page
