Hi!

Please excuse me being a bit quiet recently. As you have noticed, I
released Genesis 0.4.3, a bugfix release. (David, thanks for changing
the bug statuses accordingly, I simply forgot!)

In the meantime, I started working on a new notification/action system.
The idea is to get rid of actions in notifications (which are gone in
notify-osd) and make use of the status icon for this. It took me some
time to think over how to actually implement this, but I hope I figured
out a way that should work quite well for our needs.

The code is now in the new-messaging branch[1]. David, could you have a
look and simply say if it makes sense to you? If you have any questions,
don’t hesitate to ask. If I made any stupid design decisions, it’s
better to fix it now.

Once this is ready, I’d push it to the 0.5 branch. Also, once account
management is ready, it should also go into that branch. We should then
start thinking about goals for 0.5 and head for the release.
