This was tested on Natty, so to be sure of the exact status and ensure
it's not caused by updated packages it still needs to be tested on a
clean install of Maverick.

Status in Canonical and Fluendo collaberation project: New

Bug description:
The file 1957-04-08_Spanish_Revolution_Anniversary.mpg from the test media on www.canonical-partners.com/media skips pretty noticeably on my main laptop (which is capable of playing dvds just fine, for example).

This may be caused by the file itself or be specific to my system, but just in case I've opened this bug.
