I am working with the BZR download of the 1.0 codebase.

The tar.gz from last year is about 9Mb in size. 

I am guessing that you omit the .bzr directory (67Mb) but are their any other files?

Also you need to put a not_configured file in the /install directory

After all this prep I am doing a  tar -czvf to create a tar.gz

Any other tips for beginners??
