Hey all,

I'm glad to see this list growing!

As I'm waiting for the go-ahead to post some news here, I thought I'd take a moment to point out something brought to my attention last week about how the mailing lists on Launchpad work. It seems that in most cases, when you send an email to exponent-cms@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (this mailing list's email address) it comes through as being sent TO exponent-cms@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, and FROM the sender. So in this case, this email probably looks like it's from me (phillip@xxxxxxxxxxxx).

This of course cases issues when you want to reply to the list. Hitting reply would only sent it back to me, and reply to all CC's exponent-cms@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, while still sending to me personally. I did some digging on Launchpad and it appears that this isn't a bug, or even a configurable option, it's an issue with the majority of email clients. I started to read more in to it, but my eyes started to glass over and I lost interest. But for those who are interested:

The solution for me, and probably for most of you, is of course to hit reply, and replace the personal email of the last sender with that of the mailing list (exponent-cms@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).
