I'm worried about these lines:

because that's the change being added; so this is saying to me that with
the change, Tellico starts to segfault whereas it worked before, so it's
not an acceptable SRU even if it fixes parsing the AppArmor profile.

The options are either to remove the profile or to also fix tellico to
actually run.
