I think option 2 would be best. With option 1 if you pause the music then kind of forget about it, and then turn it on later it'd be kind of disorienting for it to start in the middle somewhere. Pretty small, but those are my thoughts.

(I didn't get back to our hostel at all last night, we crashed at my friend's place here in NY-- hence my late reply)

I vote option 1 as well, but its such a minor issue that it doesn't really matter much.  I've seen it done both ways and I doubt that a 10 year old is even gonna care.

In Battleship, if the music is toggled 'off' in the upper right-hand corner, and then re-toggled, which behavior would you like to see:

1. Stop the music and start it over from the beginning
2. Pause the music and resume it from that spot
