Re: Big Question sets or limited levels?
I've altered the way random questions are selected. Now, the list is
randomized once at load up, and then questions are taken out in order. This
gives us random questions each play-through and also ensures that every
question in a set can be seen provided there are enough levels to do so.
As for number of levels, I think 10 solid looking levels is a good goal.
Given that, the number of questions you'd need would be 10 levels x 4
questions per level + 2 for each life they can lose = 42 *questions per-set.
*
The teachers will be able to make their own question sets, and they won't
necessarily abide by this rule, and that's fine. The kids will just see
questions repeated once all questions have been displayed and there are
still levels remaining. However, since we know how many questions are needed
to avoid repeats, I'd prefer that we had 42 questions *per-section in the
Math book.*
This of course only covers Math. An English book is structured differently
in terms of vocab words and such and that will need to be another discussion
all together. For now, focus on getting the math questions done until we
have a conversation regarding how to tackle the English stuff.
