[Bug 2121003] Re: nautilus new folder in "List" view missing

 

Where you right click is important. The empty space represents the
parent folder to create a new folder in. Right clicking on a folder name
would be too ambiguous because the app can't really tell if you want to
create a new folder in the folder being clicked or in its parent folder
which is the window's current view. So it makes sense to me that the
option is hidden in this case.

  No idea, but in Ubuntu can't find create folder right click in list view when mouse is on a folder name.
  It was fixed years ago ? there is a right click create Folder but only in empty space of folder list.
