Just FYI, I came to this bug because during upgrade from 25.04 to 25.10,
I got this message:

which translated says that those packages are from non official sources.
Indeed it looks like they are not from questing but the older versions
from plucky.

As I said, this is because the version in questing 2.48.6-... is lower
than the version in plucky 2.48.7-...

So, what @ahasenack wrote:
 - apply the security fix for questing's 2.48.6-1ubuntu2 and release it into questing-security
won't fix the issue I noticed, as the questing version should be greater than the version in plucky.

Note that on top of this the 2.48.7-... plucky version which remained
installed after the upgrade to questing, is also built with a different
libxml2 soname, and this is another problem.

So, make sure you end up with a questing version greater than the latest
version in plucky.
