Public bug reported:

Running a recent installation of Ubuntu 24.04 with Wayland, opening
nautilus and resizing the window leads to nautilus freezing (i.e. "the
program is not responding").

Running from terminal with G_DEBUG="all" NAUTILUS_DEBUG="All" results in
no explicit error message when freezing, only the confirmation that I
killed the program in the end.

I tried attaching the process to gdb like

$ pgrep nautilus
> 20297
$ sudo gdb -p 20297

but as soon as I attach it, nautilus freezes.
