Hey there! Running Ubuntu 25.10 (kernel 6.17.0-5-generic) on Asus
ZenBook UX433FN/ALC294.
Issue still happens after rebooting from Windows, despite disabling fast startup as suggested here:

Only workarounds are still:
1. full shutdown from Windows before booting to Ubuntu (thanks hilikus)
2. come back from suspend (thanks bonnaf)

After a windows update I lost all the sound on my ubuntu machine. It's the second time that this happends.
My sound is unmuted and at a loud level and nothing is comming out of my speakers.
