This is very likely a hardware decoder bug. Please may you run,

$ GST_DEBUG='*:5' GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 totem /path/to/drone/footage |&
tee gst.log

And attach the gst.log file here? Even better if you can provide the
video file, but I appreciate it might be very large.

Bug description:
  Hi,
  I'm not sure the problem is in gstreamer1.0, but it could easily be.  When I played my first video from my newly acquired second-hand, previously crashed drone, it made me worry.  Fortunately, for me, it appears not to be a hardware problem with my drone.  Attached is a screenshot, where I froze the video so you can see the effect.  The video plays in VLC and on an Android phone just fine.
