[Bug 2125486] Re: [FFe] Please merge sudo 1.9.17p2-1 into questing
I would tend to agree to the rational, so I believe this should go in.
Given that this recently passed the MIR process, I'm also trusting that
there is a good enough autopkgtest test suite to be confident with the
change. Also, I'm fairly confident that big release blocker bugs would
likely be discovered quickly in our automated installation tests.
Let's wait for a more formal +1 from a real release team member though.

Title:
[FFe] Please merge sudo 1.9.17p2-1 into questing
Status in sudo package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I don't have a good rational other than that we are switching to sudo-
rs by default, users should be able to test and compare their use
cases against the latest version of sudo. The release has some new
features and a lot of bug fixes https://github.com/sudo-
project/sudo/releases/tag/v1.9.17.
