[Bug 703930] Re: Adding a stairway mode

** Description changed:

It could be helpful to add a stairway mode which makes it easier to climb up cubes or walk the Cubit world. In this mode the character automatically jumps up while walking in order to walk and jump at the same time and reach the top of the cube besides him. For example by pressing SHIFT to enable this mode while walking forward (pressing W) you can climb the cube in front of you.
Perhaps there could be an case differentiation to walk normally if no cube is near the direction you want go. The result of such a mode will be that you can walk the world without worrying about cubes in your way unless there are more than one cube above the current ground.
- This seems to be related to the collision detection and has to implemented somewhere there. But maybe it is to performance consuming or it is simply not wished to walk that easy through the world.
