Just a note so you know what's going on with the app development.

John continues to work on the symbol library, we are still in need of a 
good way of sharing, tracking and distributing the library(/libraries).

The mainline of development has moved to github 
<https://github.com/timabell/communication-book>, as I got fed up with 
bazaar. I've kept the wiki page for the app up to date: 
http://communication-book.wikispaces.com/Java_app , there have been no 
updates to the app since the announcement of v1.0.

Development on the app has stopped while I try and pin down a bug in 
freetts under openjdk 
<https://bugs.launchpad.net/communication/+bug/920734>. This has become 
a priority due to the removal of sun java from Ubuntu (which used to be 
the work-around) - https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Java
