Title:
  mouse has to move too far

Bug description:
  normal usage requires unnecessary mouse movement

  the current layout of the app was done with order of use in mind,
  however watching users with the app it is clear that moving the mouse
  is more of a challenge than the ordering of items. As such I plan to
  move the most common items to cluster around the top left corner of
  the app:

      The category panel (bottom) should be moved to the left hand side of the app and become vertical, with the top level category at the top.
      The speak button should be moved to the left hand side of the sentence panel.
