Update!Life, work, global events even, intervened. But some work was accomplished, current removing CLIM2's dependency on Allegro's proprietary foreign function interface and replacing it with cffi. The two are close enough that the process is, so far, just a straight forward translation of Allegro's syntax to cffi. Hoping to get back on some emails soon.
