Hi Dan,

This sounds like a really good idea. I'd love to see a draft if you have
one. I've been thinking about putting together a guide of simple tweaks to
the system to improve performance on "normal" systems. Things like
swappiness, network settings, etc. I've got a site up with the guide (I'll
send the link when it's ready). I won't mind putting it up there as well. I
think the community would really benefit from the guide you have in mind.
