Codemania conference videos
Hi all,
Videos from the codemania conference are starting to appear online. Below
is a selection of talks that you might find interesting:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvJu5xSOqTw
Adrian Cockroft, of Netflix microservice fame, gave a keynote about....
microservices! Lots of good ideas here, but he doesn't go into much detail.

Keysey Gilmore-Innis gave a great talk about the benefits of immutable data
OTHER than those related to concurrency (which everyone talks about). A
good talk to help you change your coding style towards a functional or
faux-o (as bernhardt coined it) style.

Josh Robb gave a talk on Connasence - a good tool to be able to talk about,
and reason about coupling in code.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcSuEMR7DrA
Michael Barker - Designing for performance. A good talk with lots of useful
info, particularly around figuring out what you're optimising for
(throughput? latency? something else?), and then designing a measurement
that makes sense for that goal.
There's a few talks that aren't online yet - as they appear I'll reply to
this email with more links.
Cheers,
