Didier,
I have two VMs setup for you to start to experiment with, both
on http://s-jenkins.ubuntu-ci:8080/:
- ps-trusty-desktop-i386-1
- ps-trusty-desktop-amd64-1
There is a simple job for doing a daily dist-upgrade:
http://s-jenkins.ubuntu-ci:8080/job/ps-trusty-desktop-update-daily/
I have not configured any other jobs for these machines. The
jenkins jobs run as user 'jenkins'. Both 'jenkins' and
'ubuntu' users have sudo access. If this needs to be switched
so that 'ubuntu' is the jenkins user, that can be done.
I will be online tomorrow morning, but will be on holiday for
the remainder of the day and all next week.

That looks good to me. Thanks Francis!
How and when are the VMs snapshot reverted? (I guess we need to
have that before the daily update/dist-upgrade) so that I can
always get a fresh VM before that update job processing, right?
Does the VM autologin as on of those users? (also, if you have a
receipe for getting the result outside of the CI Train, like
downloading artefacts so that I can share them with the rest of
the community, that would be awesome).
Keep me posted!
Cheers,
Didier
