All,

Please see the planned maintenance advisory below. The maintenance
window is scheduled to begin at 2300 UTC on Monday July 7th and last to
0100 UTC on Tuesday July 8th (1900 to 2100 EST on Monday July 7th).

This outage will affect, as stated below, all systems with a single
power supply. Single power supply systems include:

 - All desktop systems used for testing (otto, AP, MIR)
 - All bootspeed test systems (Acer Veritons)
 - All ADB hosts for phablet testing
 - m-jenkins
 - dmz-jenkins
 - ISO smoke test/Kernel SRU servers
 - maas test stack (lenovo-RD230-{01-12})
 - Openstack test stack (test-{01-12}


I will put all jenkins instances within the lab (d-jenkins, m-jenkins,
q-jenkins, s-jenkins, dmz-jenkins, staging-jenkins) in "Prepare to
shutdown" mode at approximately 2100 UTC (1700 EST) on Monday July 7th
to help ensure there aren't any jobs running on affected jenkins-slave
nodes during the outage. I will begin shutting down single power supply
systems at 2230 UTC (1830 EST) on Monday July 7th to ensure they are
taken down gracefully. I will also be around when the maintenance window
ends to ensure all systems come back online fully and to restart jenkins
services.

Markley Group, our data center provider in Boston (1SS), will be
taking each of our redundant power feeds offline separately for
staggered maintenance. This will reduce our redundancy and will affect
any single-powered devices within the data center. The scheduled
maintenance window begins at 2300 UTC on Monday, July 7 and ends at
0100 UTCÂ on Tuesday, July 8.
