I've made the changes needed to unblock this [3] and deployed the
updated jobs. Yep, the autolanding stanzas are unused now that landing
is done through ci-train. If you still need a method to update the
PPAs, lets discuss alternatives.

Not yet. This job depends on the deb packages generated by the last
autolanding job which is no longer happening. The solution is probably
to update the job get the latest packages direct from the archive and
just run an update once per day. I also notice that the job still
isn't connecting to the doc host properly. I'll have ping IS and see
what's still broken.
