Oh ! Through the plugin !
Almost no experience with it myself (or only with recent versions of
jenkins which are newer to what we use in the lab).
My gut feeling about ssh vs jlnp is mostly about lost connections
between master and slaves that I stopped to encounter when I start
starting my slaves outside of jenkins and rely on the ssh connection
during the job executions. And that was at a time where I had to deal
with jobs hanging in the slaves so not the easiest configuration.
