One remark regarding issue #640613:
We need to clarify which text exactly has to be "frozen". The problem
here is that some strings are marked for internationalization, which
renders them "unfreezable" in that they will get updated via launchpad
translations. If any of those internationalized strings are to be
frozen, this will make the translation review process critical (and we
will need to plan ahead of each release to get sign-off on the
translations).
The strings currently marked for internationalization are
In payment_complete.html
- - Payment Complete
- - Quantity
- - Description
- - Amount
- - Total
- - Your payment was unsuccessful
- - You payment could not be processed.
- - Reason:
- - Payment Information
- - Id
- - Status
Note that "Reason:" and "Status" are marked (but not the actual reason,
or the actual status)
In payment_form.html

- - Description
- - Amount
- - Total
- - Your payment was unsuccessful
- - Your payment could not be processed. Please verify the submitted
information.

- - The operation could not be performed because one or more error(s)
occurred.
