Hello Not sure exactly what has been updated thus far with regards to AZC. bzr lp:apt-zeroconf/r0.5 ======================== First, Martin-Éric Racine has been working on improving the packaging. I just heard on IRC that dpkg is still dogging us. When dpkg configures the package and calls the init file... the python code cannot find the daemon module, at least. But, when called from the command line the issue disappears. I can only conclude it is a path issue with environment of dpkg and init. We really need to determine what the cause is before another package is released by the team. I also just pushed back the non-pyinotify module to read the apt cache as pyinotify continues to be flakey. bzr lp:apt-zeroconf =================== I have merged in Martin-Éric Racine package changes. I also branched for an experimental ng with a new layout and better pep8 compliance. bzr lp:apt-zeroconf/ng ====================== This is an experimental branch that has been thoroughly 'shaken and stirred.' I renamed modules, moved objects, and attempted to rid non-pep8 objects. I also added and clarified the doc strings. I feel this code is more flexible and easy. We should decide if this is worthy of being merged back into trunk. ---- We really should be discussing the road forward for AZC. Should we hold a meeting in our IRC Channel? When is good? Should people be discussing more on list? What should AZC be?
