I have setup a system to automatically update on the 1st and 15th of the
month from the mercurial, the new PPA is as follows

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntu-com-tommywatson/crrcsimhg

Also I have tried out these $15 controllers from hobbyking.com
